Open your heart and accept whoever you are!

“I was looking for someone to inspire me, motivate me, support me, keep me focused… Someone who would love me, cherish me, make me happy, and I realized all along that I was looking for myself.” We need self-love, self-compassion, self-acceptance and self-kindness. First limb of Yoga “Yamas” teaches us how to deal with such relationship with ourselves. And actually how you treat yourself will also reflect your relationship with others. If we are violent to ourselves, we will also treat others this way.

We are happy, we are upset, we are angry, all those feelings come from our inner-selves. I used to hate myself after my first labor, crazy hormones, breastfeeding, weight gain, acne, larger feet and frizzy hair...Too many things changed which made me really frustrated. I missed my yoga-toned bod and rolled my eyes at every new mom celebrity looking stylish and slender five minutes after labor. I have come a long way since the days I learnt to accept whatever way I was. And then I realized everything just took time. Instead of being upset all day long, I could simply take it easy and let it be. . I just grew a human. I should be proud of myself that I’m a strong mother who can survive on a sleep-deprived life. Self-acceptance is the key to have made me achieve what I have today. . Meanwhile, how we treat ourselves is in truth how we treat those around us. “If You are taskmaster with yourself, others will feel your whip. If you are critical of yourself, others will feel your high expectations of themselves as well. If you are light hearted and forgiving with yourself, others will feel the ease and joy of being with you. If you find laughter and delight in yourself, others will be healed in your presence.”—— Deborah Adele

Love yourself first! Then others will feel your love! ❤️❤️❤️🕉🙏
