My Yoga Journey

My right wrist can finally back on duty!! Since last time at YTT, I sprained it while doing Chatarunga Dandasana, it’s been almost 2 months. Comparing with my spinal injury due to my labor before, it took way shorter time to heal. So I was really patient with the healing process, because when you already experienced something worse, nothing would be a big deal. Everything just takes time. So focus on the present you, present practice, which will eventually lead you where you want to go. However, if you always expect too much and keep looking far away where currently you can’t really reach, it will bring you anxiety, stress and all other negativities. .

Back to my practice, I was trying out a prep pose for Tittibhasana Firefly Pose. It’s really challenging for me cuz it requires too much flexibility on the low back. I used all props I can use to protect myself from getting injured again. We do need a mindful practice. Don’t let the ego move you. I’m glad I could be already here even tho I’m not quite there yet. Life is just about this tiny bit happiness day by day, isn’t it?

Cheers! Happy Sunday!
